Thank you for visiting my webpage. I am a research scientist, interested mainly in fundamental Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) methods for Scientific Machine Learning (SciML), and broader relevant areas of AI/ML trust and privacy.
Currently, I am a Technical Lead and Senior Research Manager at Stanford University’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), working with diverse AI/ML teams across Stanford and the corporate world, in order to envision and build novel solutions connecting cutting-edge AI/ML/GenAI and foundation models research to real-world problems.
[07/2024] Delivered 2 talks on model evaluation and bias mitigation in text-to-image models at Impact Genius'AI for Good Institute, at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA
[05/2024] Judged and mentored teams at NextGen II Hackathon, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
[2023-present] Served as a panelist/reviewer on Stanford's Ethics & Society Review and similar AI/ML red-teaming, model evaluation, and safety/responsibility risk analysis efforts with industry affiliates.
[08/2022] The Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM): Co-organized a minisymposium on "Research Advances at the Interface of Uncertainty Quantification and Machine Learning for High-Consequence Problems" at the Section on Statistics in Defense and National Security
